What is the purpose of The Myopia Workshop?

The Myopia Workshop is a unique, intensive 2-day event designed to equip practitioners with the tools and knowledge needed to implement or enhance myopia management in their practices. The workshop aims to empower practice owners and key stakeholders to significantly impact patient care and outcomes


When and where is The Myopia Workshop being held?

The Myopia Workshop will take place on December 6-7th at the Hilton Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington. The workshop will commence at 3 PM on Saturday.

How do I register for the workshop?

You can register for The Myopia Workshop by filling out the registration form. Our team will then reach out to you with a credit card authorization form for payment. 


What topics will be covered during the workshop?

 We will cover:

  • Understanding myopia and the importance of treatment

  • Treatment methodologies and approaches

  •  Presentation strategies for patients and parents

  • Documentation and administrative tools

  • Cost structure and financial presentation to patients

What are the workshop hours each day?

  • Friday: The workshop will start at 9 AM and conclude at 5 PM, followed by a group dinner and social event.

  • Saturday: The workshop will resume at 9 AM and end at 3 PM, allowing attendees time to explore the Seattle area or catch flights home.


Will meals be provided during the workshop?

Yes, meals are included in the workshop cost:

  • Friday: Light breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Saturday: Light breakfast and lunch.


Is there a recommended hotel or accommodation for attendees?

Check out our travel page for travel and hotel options. Several hotels are near the conference center if you do not elect to stay at the Hilton Bellevue.


What should I bring to the workshop?

Bring yourself and a key team member. We will provide note-taking paper and pens.


Is there a dress code for the workshop?

The dress code is business casual.


Will there be opportunities for networking during the workshop?

Yes, the workshop format encourages open discussion and camaraderie. Speakers will be present throughout the event to share their experiences and engage with attendees. Additionally, there will be a dinner and social activity on Friday night.


Can I earn continuing education credits by attending the workshop?

No, this workshop is not COPE-approved. The focus is on practical education and discussion, which do not fall under typical COPE categories.


What is the refund policy if I need to cancel my registration?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to cancel, we will refund 80% of your registration fee up to two weeks before the event. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds after this period.


Will presentation materials and resources be available after the workshop?

Yes, presentation materials and resources will be available for attendees. Additionally, resources from our vendors will be accessible to help you implement the knowledge gained during the workshop.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is parking available at the Hilton Bellevue for a fee.
